1973: Night Four of five for Bruce at The Quiet Knight in Chicago opening for the Persuasions.

1985: Bruce and the E Street Band wrap the first leg of the Born in the U.S.A. Tour at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. The show is captured by a fan on video, and you can watch it here.

1986: Bruce wins three American Music Awards: Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album (for Born in the U.S.A.), and Favorite Pop/Rock Male Video Artist. He’s not in attendance though, so his awards are accepted on his behalf by…

1994: Bruce debuts “Streets of Philadelphia” at the Commitment to Life AIDS benefit in Los Angeles.

1997: Bruce takes his solo tour to Tokyo, playing the first of four shows at the International Forum. Before the show, he appears on local news for a somewhat awkward (due to the need for asynchronous translation) interview.

2009: Working on a Dream, Bruce’s sixteenth studio album, is released. Meanwhile, Bruce and the E Street Band rehearse for their upcoming Super Bowl halftime show at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

2016: The River Tour (2016 Edition) moves on to Madison Square Garden, where “Candy’s Room” makes its tour premiere.

2017: Night 3 in Perth features the first and only performance of “Drive All Night” in Australia to date.

2018: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City. David Crosby is in attendance tonight.
