Ken, Do you know who wrote the positive review for Bruce’s 1973 Ahmanson Theater/Los Angeles C.B.S. promotion appearance? Commenting on Bruce’s first album release, the journalist writes, “{A} promising new artist…he is, for me, more exciting for the potential his current work suggests than for that actual work, a rich, but sometimes diffused series of musical collages..” (Could the author be the L.A. Times’ Robert Hilburn?) P.S.-Love the pro-shot “Joe Hill” from Tampa on this important day.
