1964: Honorary E Streeter Tom Morello is born in New York City.

1969: Child plays a gig at Pandemonium in Wanamassa, New Jersey.

1973: Bruce plays his first North Carolina show, opening for Chicago at the Cumberland County Memorial Arena in Fayetteville. This is the start of a thirteen-show tour with Chicago, which will not go well–Bruce’s music and style are not a good fit for Chicago fans.

1976: Southside Johnny’s debut album release party at The Stone Pony is broadcast live on WNEW-FM and other stations. Bruce, Stevie, Max, Clarence, Ronnie Spector, and other notables are in attendance and join Southside for the encore performance of “Having a Party.”

1978: At Night Two of three at Boston’s Music Hall, Bruce tour premieres “Because the Night” as an encore.

1979: Bruce and the E Street Band work on “Mary Lou” and “Point Blank” at the Power Station in New York City.

1981: Bruce and the E Street Band play “Jackson Cage” for the first time in Europe at their second of six nights at London’s Wembley Arena on the original River Tour.

1993: Bruce’s World Tour 1993 stops for a night in the town of Gentofte, Denmark.

1999: Bruce opens the second Reunion show in Berlin with “I Wanna Be With You.”

2005: Bruce plays a solo acoustic show at Forest National in Brussels, where “State Trooper” makes its Devils & Dust Tour premiere.

2006: The Seeger Sessions Tour arrives at the Germain Amphitheater in Columbus, where Bruce premieres The Band’s “Rag Mama Rag.”

2008: The Magic Tour gets its longest show to date, at Emirates Stadium in London.

2009: Bruce and the E Street Band kick off the European leg of the Working on a Dream Tour by headlining Pinkpop in The Netherlands, where “From Small Things (Big Things One Day Come)” makes its tour debut and Brandon Flowers guest-stars on “Thunder Road.”

2012: The Wrecking Ball Tour arrives in Berlin, and Bruce marks the occasion by opening with his only known performance of Wizz Jones’ “When I Leave Berlin” and tour debuting “Save My Love.”

2015: Bruce and Patti perform some classic covers with Bobby Bandiera’s band at the wedding of Patti’s personal assistant in Oakland, New Jersey.

2018: Springsteen on Broadway continues its theatrical run at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York City.

2019: Bruce releases “Tucson Train,” the third single from his upcoming Western Stars album.

2023: Bruce and the E Street Band play their first show in Edinburgh in more than four decades.
